Local Gatherings

One aspect of the Foundation's mission is community outreach. Potluck dinners are hosted that often include a movie or a guest speaker, followed by discussion. Topics might include environmental conservation and education issues, toxic crops and local sustainable food production, gardening with native plants to support local wildlife, identification and management of invasive plant species, mentoring  children's connection to the natural world, developing a co-creative partnership with Nature, etc.
