Volunteer

The Wakeman Foundation has a variety of volunteer opportunities for different interests and schedules. Please read below to learn more about the current volunteer needs.

Animal rescue:

From time to time the Foundation needs temporary foster homes for pets waiting for placement in forever homes. We also would be grateful for help networking for and screening prospective adoption families. If you would have time and the ability to help us in either capacity please contact us.

Children's programs:

The Foundation would love to have help designing and implementing children's programs. Volunteers are especially needed for one day events during summer months. Please contact us for more information.

Gardening:

The Foundation can always use an extra pair of hands in the organic vegetable gardens. Come help with a bit of weeding and watering, learn a bit about organic gardening, and share in our garden's bounty in return. Please contact us for more information.
